  • The November Fun-Raiser!

Our basic annual operating costs are only around £1400. This covers this website, our online drive for project work, and our annual legal and regulatory obligations.

We have no employees, just a handful of Member-Owners working together to create and run our showcases, monthly socials, update the website, apply for (and get rejected by) grant applications.

To make ends meet, we need YOUR help! November is the most expensive month for us, and we’re VERY low on funds. Please help us survive and keep bringing you the fun? <3

  • Exploring the Shadows

This is the project that originally brought the community together to work on EmpressVR in 2022! We have applied for around 12 grants, and received one. We’ve interviewed for several. But this project sits on the intersection of Arts, culture, education, and digital therapeutic… Which makes it EXTREMELY niche, and difficult to fund because it doesn’t fit neatly into any one category.

To make this happen, we need to raise community funds! If you want to support us in producing the VR experience, please donate! <3

  • The DnD Themed Immersive Interactive Street Theatre Piece

In our attempt to make this happen in 2026, it became apparent that the skills for this type of performance are VERY niche… Busking skills, improv skills, costuming skills, physical theatre, just to name a few!

So in early 2027, we hope to run a 6 week class to cover all of these topics, culminating in a run of performances in Bristol and hopefully at several festivals in the UK.

But to do this, we need support! It’s a ton of work, and if we’re going to offer the class for free, then we need to support the instructors and organizers through community donations. Please support our shenanigans! <3
